What types of assets does the VIP program cover? ▼
The Dockd VIP program works with boats, jet skis, vacation homes, cars and any other rentable asset. We are actively expanding to cover RVs, ATVs, dirt bikes and more. If you have an asset that people would want to rent, contact us and we will let you know if we can manage it.
What is the difference between VIP Assisted and VIP Elite? ▼
VIP Assisted means we handle all the digital side — listing creation, booking management, calendar coordination and renter communication — for any asset type, while you physically manage the asset yourself. VIP Elite means we handle everything including professional photography, fueling and cleaning, in-person renter handoff, on-site contract signing, captain sourcing for boats and maintenance coordination. Your asset joins our managed fleet.
Do I still control my asset in VIP Elite? ▼
Absolutely. You always remain the owner and are in full control. You approve your availability and set the terms. VIP Elite simply means our team handles all the physical coordination on your behalf — for boats, cars, homes or any other asset — and you never need to be present unless you want to be.
How does the in-person handoff work for cars and homes? ▼
For cars a Dockd team member meets the renter at the agreed pickup location, hands over the keys and completes the rental agreement on your behalf. For vacation homes we meet renters at the property at check-in time, walk them through the home and handle any documentation. You never need to be there.
How and when do I get paid? ▼
All renters pay upfront at booking through secure Stripe payments regardless of asset type. Funds are automatically deposited to your connected bank account within 2–7 business days. You receive a monthly earnings report covering all your assets and bookings. VIP members receive priority payout processing.
Can I list multiple different asset types under one VIP membership? ▼
